Too cute!
So my kids rarely fall asleep without being rocked or in the swing. Last night, I was rocking Colin and Brady was swinging. Ryan was exhausted and apparently Addie was too! I looked down and saw this! How sweet!

Little stinker.......
Addison is such a little stinker! She's everywhere! She can fit into the smallest places and is trying so hard to escape out of the living room! (We have the couch pushed up to the steps so you can't get out unless you walk across that step.)

She heads for this step everytime you put her down! I give it 2 days and she'll have it figured out!
She has also figured out how to pull herself up and stand holding onto the couch. She was so frustrated on Monday trying to pull herself up. I took the couch cushion off and that did the trick. She did it today and was standing up looking at me so proud of herself! Of course no one was home to see it but me.....BUT..she did it like 5 other times when my mom came and she saw her do it! I have a great video of her doing it. I'll post tomorrow if I can figure it out! I can't believe how much they learn in just a days time.
Brady is getting SO CLOSE...he has crawled a few times but not very far so I'm not too excited about it yet! Soon though! And Colin....well he's still not even close to crawling..BUT..we've had a little forward movement!!! He inched his way forward today...he probably only went about a centimeter but it's forward movement! HA!
Why the hell do I need to crawl when someone will just pull me in my wagon?!?!

Come on Brady!!

It's Official!!
ADDIE IS CRAWLING!!
She's been so close lately...I knew it would be soon. She would do a few crawl motions and then fall on her belly and scoot. That was working really well for her and I thought she would just be satisfied doing that!
She has mastered it though! She can go for quite aways and then will fall on her belly for a second to rest and then can get up and go some more! Now she'll be able to pick on her brothers and crawl away from them!! I'm glad she was the first to crawl...Colin rolled first and Brady got the first teeth! Have to keep it fair around here! Way to go Addie!

My Sweeties are SEVEN Months Old!
Happy 7 months to my little darlings! The babes are getting so big. We're growing out of our 6 month clothes so that meant I got to go shopping for some new 9 month stuff!! DARN :) Mom and I took the kids to the mall the other day to spend some gift cards I'd been saving. Sometimes the kids are great at the mall...sometimes it's no fun at all. Yesterday was a success though! They were SO good! I got a bunch of sleepers and some 9 month onesies and little outfits that they should be able to wear the next 3 months.
The kids are really starting to play with toys and play with each other. I love watching them interact with each other! They roll around on the floor together and one of these days someone is going to end up in tears. They are constantly rolling on each other and pulling each others hair, ear, shirt or whatever!
Here's the newest info on the kiddos!

Addie: She scoots EVERYWHERE...and FAST. She is so close to crawling. I thought Brady would be first but I'm not thinking so anymore. She is SO SO CLOSE. Maybe a few more days? We had to rearrange the furniture and block off the entry way into the kitchen because she's too quick for me! We had a little open space between the couch and steps and she squeezed herself thru it and was heading towards the basement steps! She's a stinker! She smiles constantly and rarely fusses. Only when she's hungry and ready for bed. She will play on the floor by herself for an hour without making a peep. She's the easiet kid ever! She's still the smallest and doesn't eat as much as the boys. She's working on sitting up too. She will sit there for a minute or 2 before falling over. She'll master that first too!

Brady: He is also so close to crawling and gets around the room easily. He is OBSESSED with the jump-a-roo. Last night, he honestly sat in it for 1 1/2 hours. He didn't just sit in it....he jumped like the whole time!!! He's a crazy man in it. He can entertain himself with toys for quite awhile too. He's also working on sitting up alone and is getting pretty good at it. He's still our spittiest kid and has turned our tan carpet into tan carpet with specks of green and orange! Thank goodness we didn't get new carpet when we moved in! He's still the only one with teeth...they are so big and SHARP!

Colin: Oh Colin....where do I start. He is not even close to crawling! Poor thing gets so mad because he can't do much or get to the toys :) He rolls over a lot(finally) but usually ends up laying on his belly flapping his arms! he loves the jump-a-roo too and likes to talk to his brother and sister. His laugh is hysterical and you can really get him to belly laugh. He's working on sitting up but still has a little way to go. He LOVES to eat and is still the biggest. He's a good 2 pounds heavier than the other two.
Brotherly love :)

Love that smile!

1 Year Ago...Part 2
July 9th, 2009
Finally the day of our ultrasound. Remember from an earlier post, we'd had an ultrasound in early June when I was only about 4 weeks along and the tech said I was pregnant and it sure looked like 2 babies to me. She wouldn't confirm that and said we'd come back in 4 weeks....the long 4 weeks was up!
We got right in and headed to the ultrasound room. As she was doing the ultrasound she got a little quiet...she asked me a few questions which made me a little nervous. She first asked if this was my first ultrasound. My answer: no, I was here 4weeks ago and you did the ultrasound.
She then asked in a strange, calm voice: What did I tell you at that last ultrasound? So I'm thinking.....great, I'm not pregnant and there is nothing there. It seemed to me that she wasn't seeing anything. My response was : You told me I was pregnant and I think there were 2 babies but you wouldn't confirm it. At this point my heart was racing. It was taking her forever to freeze the screen so I could see the baby.
I will never in my whole life forget the next 5 minutes of that appointment. I can still hear her voice.....She looked at me and smiled and said "Congratulations, you're having TRIPLETS."
Then she froze the screen and we saw this!!!

I cried.....sobbed actually. That doesn't make me a bad mother, just a scared one! I was happy, nervous and scared all at once. Ryan was his typical calm self. I can still hear him saying.... IT'S FINE! EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE!! DON'T WORRY EM! IT'S FINE!!
She finished the ultrasound and said everything looked great. We sat waiting for the doctor and I'm pretty sure we didn't say much for a few minutes. We were in shock...and so was Dr. Eastman. He couldn't believe it. He was very calm and up-front with me. He told me that a triplet pregnancy is nothing like a twin pregnancy...I would probably be on bedrest..and would probably deliver at or around 35 weeks. He also told us to expect the babies to be in the NICU for a month. Very upfront but I was ok with that. We were to go back in 4 weeks to see him again.
I'm pretty sure we were a little quiet walking to the car....We were anxious to call our parents but nervous too. I called my parents and siblings first. They were all in Minneapolis vising Jake. They couldn't believe it. Mom cried. She is a worrier like me. Later that night, she even got sick. She was so worried she made herself sick! Ryan's family was excited too. They didn't even know we were pregnant. I had told my family on the 4th of July so they were anxiously awaiting the call.
Such a fun day...a day I'll always remember. Our lives were about to change forever!

4th of July
Headed to Marcus for the weekend and spent 2 nights at great-grams. My brother and his gf were home from Minneapolis....they loved spending time with the kids since they hadn't seen them in a few months. I was a little surprised that the kids didn't freak out during the fireworks. I thought Brady would cry for sure! He seems to be the sensitive one. They all stared at the sky in awe! Colin whimpered once but that was it!
Nothing too exciting to really write about...just a nice weekend at home! Ryan actually had 3 days off...IN A ROW! That never happens! A little bummed the 4th is over...seems like school creeps up on me fast once we get past the 4th. 46 days till inservice...NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
